The Greatest Love of All
February 11, 2012 marks a tragic day for the music industry. It marks the day that young girls lost an iconic inspiration of many dreams. As we mourn the loss of the beautiful and wonderfully gifted Whitney Houston, we should remember the individual, daughter and mother. For these things she deserves our respect and our prayers.
Whitney, inspired many little girls throughout the world. Her music was uplifting, powerful and insirational. Her wonderful belief in the Almighty God and the confidence that He gave us the ability to be anything we could ever dream of being was genuinely exibited in her music.
Her voice was one that could be identified at the first note that resonated from he tiny frame. It pierced you deep in your soul. Her sound and tone were impecable. angelic and powerful, graceful and pure.
I remember being that little girl who was moved everytime I heard her voice. I tried to exude such strength, confidence and grace each and everytime I held a brush in my hand as a microphone stepped in front of a mirror or stepped on stage in school trying to be the superstar that dreamed of and still want to be. She made me believe that I could be like her and fullfil any dream i could ever dream. She showed me that the beauty that was inside of me should be shared and that i could make people feel through the music that I knew resided in me.
Thank you Whitney for giving us the greatest love of all.... the love inside of you!
You will truly be missed but your music will live forever in my heart, around the world and for generations to come.
Beautiful, talented, inspiration... Gone too soon!!!
Rest in peace, God bless you and your family.
